The New sleep drug Intermezzo gets the approval of FDA


Most of the people in the stressful world suffer lack of sleep. The difficulty faced by the person in falling asleep after waking up in the middle is called insomnia.FDA approved the new drug Intermezzo to treat insomnia. The clinical trial conducted to test the effectiveness of the Intermezzo say that a person should take the medication if he still has 4 hours of the bed time left.  The clinical trials also state that person should avoid taking the medication, if he has already consumed alcohol or any other sleeping aid. The new medicine Intermezzo helps you in reliving all the symptoms of insomnia like excessive daytime sleepiness and lack of energy. It also can make a person feel anxious, depressed, or irritable. 

The effectiveness of Intermezzo was tested in the clinical trial comprised of more than 370 members. The active participants of the clinical trial took shorter time to fall back asleep when compared to placebo participants.
