What are open label clinical trials?

Clinical trials are the great option for the patients to increase the hope on their survival. The new drug that gets the approval from the clinical trial is expected to show the improvement in the existing patient health condition. Clinical trials are usually conducted on the two groups of people where one receives the placebo treatment and the other receives the active treatment. This is known as comparative clinical trial. The information about the differentiation in the treatment is maintained secret.

Another type of clinical trial conducted against the comparative medical trial is open label clinical trials. In these types of medical trials, both the investigator and the participant knows about the kind of clinical trial that they are participating.
