Cancer Clinical Trials For Pets

The treatment for cancer in the pets utilizes the same methods that are available in the human medicine. Few of the cancer treatments in the pets include Chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hypothermia, immunotherapy and photodynamic therapy to fight the effects of cancer in the pets.

The effectiveness of the drug is tested on the laboratory animals to ensure that usage of the drug will be potential benefit to the patients. death of the pets during the clinical trials should be followed by ecropsy (autopsy) to know all the positive and negative effects of the clinical trial. The cancer in the pet animals resembles human cancer so it provides the meaningful systems for the cancer research to benefit both men and animals.
